Okay, here we go. Some of this stuff is a little general, and I don't know if you even plan on fixing DBS junk because SUX will have a CBS and so forth. -Dorin castle after dream sequence - "Don't want to slow you two down" (I hand wrote all these days ago and I don't remember what was wrong. There might have been a typo or something, or maybe I skipped it fast and thought there was). -If I'm not mistaken... King should always be capitalized, right? I don't know if it went uncapitalized or what, but it's right below the previous note so it was definitely right after the above (Vague typo explanations are vague). -Also, I was pretty sure that after the dream sequence and Reene is gone, The event stating "Hmm. She's not in her room." is still there from earlier. I suppose it's not really an issue because it still holds true, but they weren't looking for her at that point, right? I don't remember already, hahahaha. The rest are more spot on, I promise! -After the church scene, Clydan is only worried about Andoru, but wouldn't it make sense to also be worried about Reene? -GENERAL BUG/ISSUE: Many areas fail to change the hero's facing upon teleporting (So you end up facing the wrong way sometimes). Some do it too early, like Mount Olfacon. Andoru faces left before he even gets to the Olfacon map. -GENERAL BUG/ISSUE: If a skill is learned after a battle, any dialogue afterward messes it up (as an example, It happened to me during the ? ? ? ? sand temple wrong switch boss). Would it be feasible to put in a wait command somewhere? -The "New Record" message is rather inconsistent. Sometimes you use the picture, sometimes you use text (I'm talking about after certain minigames, think Mine cart and Grid striker). It's not really an issue, but I thought it was rather odd to use both. -I don't recall seeing any conversation about the nommo token IN THE FACTORY. Now, I may just be tripping, but I really don't remember seeing it this playthrough. -GENERAL ISSUE: Sometimes savepoints aren't frequent enough, for example, the anin dungeon was a bitch without grinding for a while. So I played through without grinding, died before the savepoint, and had to grind and redo it all (I know it was meant to be challenging though). Maybe you could code some sort of Pokemon escape rope? Getting back to the beginning of the dungeon would be nice sometimes. -The mummy monster is ON a stalagmite in nommo catacombs battle. One of those dark cat things is on one too iirc. -GENERAL ISSUE: Jumping using the cancel key is a big disadvantage. I was getting owned at first in the Anin dungeon and I needed to access the menu for healing/equipping the new umbrella, and of course I couldn't (Shift key ftw?). -Some backdrops need updating (not just those you specified). One is in the Himesworth mountains, a piece of the tree is missing. Also, one of that weird purple dungeon's backdrops has the normal unedited colors (I think it was the one in the puzzle room). What was that area btw? -After the wolf minigame, there is no mention of Illia. In the beginning you do a good job of keeping her in Andoru's mind, but not during this point! -You changed the item "$ Mucous" to "$ Mucus" but you never changed "$ Eye Mucous" to "$ Eye Mucus". -Some waterfalls in Birnam woods have no splashing at the bottom (just looks odd). -GENERAL BUG/ISSUE: Of course. The dreaded limit break stuck glitch. I don't know if you plan to fix it (if there is time before the CBS) but I was able to fix my similar DBS issues so it shouldn't be an issue for you, right? -Also in Birnam woods, you can walk ONTO the bridge leading to the new battle axe for Lynia from BELOW the elevated cliffs. -GENERAL ISSUE: The whole "paralysis never ends" thing doesn't quite sit right with me. Just this playthrough I gameover'd three times because of it (and the fact that I was too lazy to backtrack and buy any healing items). I remember always getting pissed off in Birnam woods in previous playthroughs, but I suppose you want the players to actually buy the curative items to heal the conditions, so I guess it's no big deal. -GENERAL BUG/ISSUE: That little yellow animation for teleporting has no sound effect (whether intended or not). It never has, yet the characters always seem to hear something and look to it, no? :D (Or maybe they just see it.) -Reene's battle charset doesn't change when in RAGE. This is because she's facing more toward the player/screen, but I still think a little bit of an angry eyebrow line could be there. -The speech with the king (I forget which) is missing a period near the phrase, "depart tomorrow". -The empty bottle from Sathron outpost is sellable (Or was that an item drop?). Two of the most basic weapons, the iron sword and the axe, are unsellable. -You teleport straight to the ground from the ladder in the bottom part of therdrian pass. -There is an item called "Heal"? -You can't go behind the house above the beach at Mirilas (which you would be able to, no?) And on a side note, your nice footprint system should be implemented everywhere else other than just the Sathron outpost, right? -World map bridges use beach battle backdrops (just me being picky). -A piece of a log in Somryk is cut off. -The Veris temple inner battle backdrop placement has Reene's victory stance going over the wall. -When water tornadoes/geysers are touched, they go on top of walls/ceiling. ![]() -Right before the Ellison scene there is a spot where you can still walk into the wall. -You don't lose any orbs after using four at Aesir. -In Nogard, this phrase is missing the apostraphe, "Let's lie you down" (to Lynia). -Lynia's confused battle charset isn't facing backwards. -Lynia's Rage doesn't work (Did you say you had to nerf it or something?). -There isn't a world map dot for the Neutralist HQ. Or was that purposeful? (Side note: Where the hell were they walking on green plains for so long? There's a whole mountain range between Nogard and the HQ.) -The Dragon battle on the WM after the neutralist HQ is probably too powerful. Blitz is an annoyingly insane 1 hit KO. -At some point past the halfway point in the game, your gem equips reset. Is this because everyone leaves at one point or another? -When carrots returns with the key and walks into the event Andoru, RM2k3 changes his (carrot's) sprite association to Andoru's graphic, thus making two Andorus for a moment. -I had some issue with the path continuing from Nogard (Don't remember what, though). -It's cool when you're on dry ground and leaving puddles behind you ;) ![]() -The shop thing is kinda messed up (There's a single line of pixels that don't connect). ![]() -IMO you should land one tile down (and not on a plant XD). ![]() AND THAT'S IT FOR NOW! | IMPORTANT: The SU7b list of bugs! | ||
I just played all the way to the end of ch6 again. Where did you go dhm? (ಠ_ಠ) P.S. I'm wondering who that is in the picture of the new cosmos skin. That can't be Andoru... can it? Or does he have like two personalities or some similar thing going on now. TBH at first I thought it was what Exorgath is really supposed to look like or something. OH, you know what... is this the whole "in ch7 Andoru gets a break and rethinks himself" or whatever you said? [EDIT] I also have a HUGE list of bugs and stuff.
