~~~Starless Umbra~~~
First of all, I'd like to say that I honestly have no clue as to anything regarding programming with rm2k (at least, I think that's what it is [see, I really haven't a clue!]).
~~Story~~ 9 / 10
-It's easy to fall into this storyline, especially now with the few changes you've made to Andoru's motives. The only qualm I have is that sometimes, things are so vague, it seems impossible that they would make sense to any of the people in the game. But all in all, it is a very deep, well thought-out storyline, with plenty of twists and uniqueness along with a few cliche's here and there. What more could you want? WIN.
~~Characters~~ 10 / 10
-Nothing wrong here. It's amazing how, when you realize something about one of the characters, you can kind of feel that it was there before, and it just feels like they reminded you. Unlike many games, these characters have more depth than that of a puddle. I wish I knew some of these people. (Oh, and the fact that one of them had an umbrella, just made the whole thing even more...) WIN
~~Music~~ 10 / 10
-You aren't going to be listening to Pokemon or Zelda music in this game. Think more along the lines of... FFVII-style music. The 2-bit-i-ness may still show through every now and then, but those few shortcomings are greatly overshadowed by many of the other tracks in this game. Kudos go to eternal_renegade for adding to the... WIN
~~GraphiX/10~~ (see what I did there? hah...)
-I've never played another rm2k game, but I have played Zelda game-boy games full-screen on my monitor. This was WAY better than that. The characters (except on the world map) are easily distinguishable from one another, and the environments are as visually pleasing as they could possibly be given the constraints, and then maybe a little more. Again, WIN.
~~Features~~ 10+/ 10
-Based on what I've read about rm2k, the fact that there was a side-scroller section of the game was a feat. And in my opinion, the fact that it wasn't impossibly hard to cope with was even more of a feat. Besides that one epicly-cool feature, you've got minigames scattered around the world (some mandatory, others not); mine-cart-coin-collection, bee-keeper, mecha-chicken-chaser, fishing, and more. Each one is completely different and entertaining. You've also got your cooking interface, which I think I spend a good few hours with. WIN
~~Et Cetera~~ 10 / 10
-Anything that I haven't mentioned was most likely (98% with a standard deviation of 3%) also pure... WIN
__OVERVIEW__
Cons: Storyline appears a tad to vague at a few very specific moments during the game. At some times, I even had to think for a moment about what my character's motives were, and how they got that way.
Pros: Every-friggen'-thing else.
~~OVERALL RATING~~
