D= Kelar caught me brainstorming! Well~ the way I'm seeing SU turning out, is in a tragic sense.

Heres what I'm thinking will happen in Ch7-8.

Reene convinces Andoru that, Lynia, while working for Syris, she was bieng forced to join you. Realizing that, and also realizing that Lynia befriended him in the process, he goes and kills Syris. Lynia rejoins the party, aand as the booze-induced night with Andoru suggested, they fall in love in this chapter. I'm not entirely sure how, but I'd like to see her killed shortly after they fall in love.

I'ma skip to Ch9-10, because I'm not really sure what I was going to do for the transition between these 2 events, but heres how I see SU closing up:

Exorgath thinks he's under-estimated you for some reason, so he brings back Clydan by force-feeding him the Melanoid Catacombs' nommo, making him a thoughtless zombie, which Andoru has to fight. Anyways, this is getting kinda long, so long story short, Andoru has some internal conflict, kills Exorgath (Idk, maybe Xelia and her troops finally back up Andoru, and take out Clydan for him.), the end.

I've got alot of notes I've just kinda scrawled onto a sheet of paper, but these seemed to be the most likely to actually be put into SU. It was really hard for me to get any good ideas due to the fact that you're using pixels, not meshes for the characters (though if you're considering going 3D (fat chance), I say go for it!), and pixels can't really display the intensity of an emotion like a mesh can.

+fame for that post, haha.

SU3D is more likely than you think, though I definitely try to put a lot of character into my pixels. ;)

=o dhm knows how to mesh, and use OpenGL Legacy? I THINK NOT!

actually I've created models with blender and used a library that served as an abstraction layer above OpenGL/Direct3D. (OGRE)

Sadly those are both incomplete, but I've been meaning to get demos up and running.

Yeah~ but even if you WERE to transfer, or make an SU sequel, you'd have to have a teams of meshers, scripters, and event directors to make the same cutscenes that you can make on RM2K3, exept hours/days longer. I just can't see SU compare to a game like Final Fantasy X in terms of graphics.


Should it happen though, you've got a brilliant selection of music (ofc by John Williams), and graphics, then by all means, kick ass! I'm downloading it. @_@
